Thomas/Boyd has been providing public relations and communications
services to Verizon Wireless and related companies for over a decade. These
services
have included the preparation and distribution of written such as news
releases, newsletters and speeches; the handling of all media inquiries;
the positioning of the regional president; the design and implementation
of a community relations plan; and the design and management of special
events.
In the highly competitive field of telecommunications, our firm is looked upon for media placements in major daily newspapers and television markets, throughout the Philadelphia Tri-State Region. We are responsible for coordinating new product launches, positioning new communications stores, promoting the company’s network and developing community relations programs.
Our agency generates extensive media coverage by strategically positioning the company’s commitment to domestic violence prevention and education. One example is a press conference that we coordinated with company officials and U.S. Senator Joe Biden to introduce a statewide wireless phone recycling drive to benefit domestic violence victims. The program resulted in the collection of more than 1,500 phones and positive media coverage.
