Julie is an award-winning PR and communications professional with more than 20 years of experience. She has represented clients in a wide range of industries, from health care to energy, human services to financial.
In addition to her PR-agency work, Julie has been PR director for a large nonprofit serving people with disabilities. There, her accomplishments included obtaining extensive press coverage, and writing and overseeing production of numerous, highly regarded brochures, annual reports and newsletters.
An outstanding writer and communicator, Julie also has a journalism background. She is a contributing writer and copy editor for SJ Magazine, and the former editor of a regional arts publication. Julie’s reporting work has put her at the side of an operating table, in a face-off with a Broad Street Bully, and in a heartrending conversation with the mother of a murder victim.
Both strategic and creative, Julie is skilled at identifying viable story angles and pitching them successfully to the media.
She has a bachelor’s degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where she majored in marketing.
