Thomas/Boyd Communications serves as communications consultants to developers/redevelopers involved with mixed-use, residential and commercial projects. A critical part of the overall professional development team, Thomas/Boyd creates strategic communications programs for various phases of the project, including the initial public announcement. The media relations component includes message development, maintaining contact with the news media, and writing and distributing news releases, op-eds and other materials. A proactive community relations component, which may include “town hall” style meetings, helps ensure that community members are well informed about the project. Select outreach to community stakeholders, including chambers of commerce, public officials and other key influencers, are typically part of the program as well. Recent projects include Medford Crossings, the largest mixed-use community in the history of Medford, NJ, Bordentown Waterfront Development, a proposed mixed-use redevelopment community, and a proposed active adult community by a residential builder.

The line, which would run along an existing Conrail right of way, "is the largest transit project ever planned to serve Camden and Gloucester counties," Jeff Nash, the DRPA's vice chair and a Camden County freeholder, said in a statement that announced the hearings.>>more
