CURRENT
& PAST CLIENTS
ARCHWAY PROGRAMS – Thomas/Boyd is the
community and media relations “arm” of
Archway Programs, a private non-profit that serves children and adults
with special needs. Our work for the organization includes newsletter
writing and production, fundraising event planning, and proactive media
relations.
CAMDEN’S PROMISE CHARTER SCHOOLS - Our work on behalf of Camden’s Promise (grades 5-8) and Camden Academy Charter High School (grades 9-12) includes newsletters, annual reports, special events, and media relations.
CENTRAL
REGIONAL SCHOOL DISTRICT - Implemented a successful community
and media relations campaign to defeat an effort to dissolve this
regional district. Our grassroots efforts included media outreach, volunteer
mobilization, news
releases, newsletter, fact sheets and editorial support.
DELANCO TOWNSHIP PUBLIC SCHOOLS – Coordinated a community/media
relations campaign to successfully pass a $6.6 million bond referendum
in March 2005.
The referendum had failed in three previous attempts.
GREENWICH
TOWNSHIP SCHOOL DISTRICT – Our efforts for
Greenwich
Township School District include a quarterly community newsletter, bi-monthly
employee newsletter and media relations. We’ve also worked with the
district on bond referenda communications.
MIDDLE
STATES ASSOCIATION COMMISSION ON SECONDARY SCHOOLS
Development and implementation of an ongoing marketing communications
and branding program that emphasizes the strengths and benefits of MSCSS
accreditation
in today’s education environment. Program includes brochures, newsletters,
media relations, and the creation of an allied membership program.
MOORESTOWN TOWNSHIP SCHOOL DISTRICT – News release writing, editing and distribution to local and regional media.
NJSCHOOLJOBS.COM - Media relations and marketing communications consultation for the small
niche
business designed to meet the recruiting and job
application needs of public, private, parochial and charter schools
throughout New
Jersey.
Former Education Clients
BERLIN TOWNSHIP – Passed a bond referendum for construction and renovations at existing schools.
LINDENWOLD SCHOOL DISTRICT – Successfully passed a bond referendum for the construction of a new high school; continued with comprehensive public relations program including newsletters and media relations.
LOWER CAMDEN COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT DISSOLUTION – Worked with five out of seven school districts to successfully pass a referendum for the dissolution of Lower Camden County School District after 25 years of failed referenda.
TABERNACLE
SCHOOL DISTRICT – Helped pass a
bond referendum for renovations and additions to a primary school and
renovations to a middle school.
Continued with long-term public relations program including newsletter,
new releases, and media relations.
RANCOCAS VALLEY REGIONAL HIGH SCHOOL – Developed a comprehensive public relations program to foster better communications with five sending districts. Our goal was to promote RV’s academic, performing arts and extracurricular programs. Worked with the administration and a core volunteer parent group to pass a $28 million referendum for renovations and construction of a new wing and performing arts center.
WINSLOW TOWNSHIP SCHOOL DISTRICT UNIFICATION – Following the dissolution of Lower Camden County School District, passed a $28 million bond referendum for construction and renovations to convert the junior high school to a middle school and upgrade the high school. Campaign included a community survey and name change. A long-term public relations program was developed for this growing district.
