Thomas/Boyd Communications has experience in the energy industry.

We have represented international and regional gas and solar companies, a regional electric company and are currently representing LS Power which is planning to build an energy generating station in West Deptford, NJ.

We worked with BP from 2003-2008 as the company explored the possibility of building a natural gas import facility in Logan Township. We handled the media relations and community launch of the project, initiated a community newsletter and conducted open houses. Our knowledge and expertise in this field has opened doors for other project work within BP, including solar, where we handled announcements with large business chains including Home Depot and Whole Foods.

We represented South Jersey Industries from 2005-2008. As one of largest utility companies in the state, we worked closely with SJI’s corporate communications department to develop strategic communications programs and media relations including message development, the distribution of news releases, op-eds and other materials for the company’s various business lines including: South Jersey Gas, South Jersey Energy Solutions, South Jersey Energy, South Jersey Energy Service Plus and Marina. We also handled communications for several of the company’s revolutionary business developments including the Conservation Incentive Program and solar.

Atlantic City Electric was a client of Thomas/Boyd’s in 2005. We were called upon to handle special projects and media relations work.
