Public Relations Senior Account Executive (hybrid)
Thomas/Boyd Communications (TBC) is a long-established public relations and marketing agency that creates strategic, exciting and effective communications campaigns that elicit response, problem-solve, drive growth and recognition on behalf of its business, government and nonprofit clients.
We seek a highly motivated, detail-oriented team player for the role of Senior Account Executive. This position serves as the day-to-day lead for client accounts and manages strategic communications for multiple accounts. Strong writing skills, a keen eye for details and the ability to plan ahead are a must. Experience in digital communications and content development across all channels and an astute understanding of the evolving media landscape are needed to succeed in the position. Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day PR activities and interact with clients
- Onboard new clients
- Create client communication plans that include reporting and tracking
- Analyze results/outcomes of tactics to inform recommendations
- Create content across all platforms to reach specific audiences
- Lead and execute thoughtful media relations efforts
- Create digital materials needed to promote online awareness
- Create and manage events to drive awareness
- Support crisis communications and inbound, timely client matters in a helpful way
- Assist in supervising and developing skills of account executives and support staff
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of public relations experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing or related field.
- Strong writing, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong proofreading and editing skills.
- Working knowledge of Canva and/or other graphic design software.
- Basic understanding of video, paid digital marketing initiatives and website creation/management.
- Proficiency in the use of web content management systems and social media platforms.
- Proficiency in the use of content management systems, social media platforms and
e-newsletter creation.

Qualifications and Responsibilities of a TBC Intern
- College student majoring in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or a related field
- Able to travel to our office in Moorestown, NJ
- Junior or Senior preferred
Responsibilities Include:
- Compiling specialized media lists/reports (media database software training will be provided)
- Assisting with writing news releases, calendar listings, media alerts, etc.
- Conducting internet research for clients
- Participating in strategic brainstorming sessions and internal meetings for clients
- Assisting with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and other social media platforms
