Jet Electrical Testing, a state-designated, small and women-owned business based in Trenton, recently crossed a major project milestone in support of Public Service Electric & Gas’ Smart Meter program by testing more than 1 million electric meters throughout New Jersey – while also supporting economic development efforts.

The New Jersey Board of Public Utilities has required all smart meters not only testing removed meters for accuracy, but also sample quality control efforts for new smart meters prior to installation.

By the end of 2024, Jet Electrical Testing plans to test just under two million smart meters for PSE&G.
