Samaritan, a not-for-profit provider of palliative medicine and hospice care, has named Dr. John Bertagnolli its new chief medical officer, effective June 15. A longtime Samaritan physician with more than 35 years of experience in family medicine, Bertagnolli will oversee the organization’s clinical services and medical teams while leading care for more than 13,000 patients and families annually.
