Mercer Street Friends celebrated a transformative $2 million grant supporting the expansion of its Community Schools Initiative across Trenton and Mercer County. New Jersey State Senator Shirley K. Turner visited Cadwalader Elementary School to highlight the impact of the funding, which will help expand the Initiative, which will support educational programming, strengthen literacy efforts and provide additional support for students and families.
